Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, 8am-4:30pm
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend and Holiday possible

Location:
- Huntsville/Muskoka, ON: current resident or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Basic knowledge or understanding of:
- Computer Operation (Windows OS, MS Office)
- Networking (IP Addressing, Routers/Switches)
- Construction
Education:
- High School Diploma
- Vocational diploma, college certificate or diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation or related field would be considered an asset.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Installing, repairing, and configuring telecommunications equipment and Wireless Internet subscriber equipment.
- Repair and maintain communication towers and equipment
- Conduct site surveys for potential tower locations and customer sites,
- Inventory and pricing for materials needed,
- Generator and solar maintenance (gas, startup, servicing, etc.),
- Troubleshoot and determine issues with service for customers and tower sites,
- Replacement of equipment, cable, up to and including relocations,
- Solicit both residential and commercial establishments for new leads and sales.
- General customer service, first point of contact for customers and contractors.
- Organize and prioritize work.
- Analyze and resolve problems.
- Keeping your company-supplied vehicle properly stocked with inventory, cleaned regularly, and keeping track of basic maintenance.
- Take daily inventory of the equipment needed for the job.
- Work collaboratively with management and colleagues.
- Conducting on-site analysis to determine the feasibility of establishing wireless data connections to potential customers.
- Perform other field and shop work as required.
- Include detailed notes of work done at client sites
- Aid telecom service department where required for installations, servicing and Repairs of two-way radio products and accessories, and helping with Audio/Visual Services.
Requirements:
- Some IT networking & electrical experience an asset,
- Have steel toe safety boots,
- Have own basic tools (screwdriver, wire cutters, drills, etc.),
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable driver abstract,
- Ability to work with small power tools, mechanically
- inclined,
- Ability to work in different or difficult weather conditions,
- Ability to work at heights,
- Ability to distinguish colors,
- Flexibility to work different schedules overtime and on-call,
- Excellent English communication skills, spoken and
- written,
- Awareness of occupational health and safety and quality of
- work,
- Must pass the security police check,
- Bondable,
- Some out-of-town/overnight travel.
