Are you in a Computer Systems Technician – Networking program? Would you like to help quality Networking support to all CNL sites and locations across Canada? What you will be doing:
- Following all the company’s procedures while onsite.
- Conducting fieldwork under the mentorship of a fellow CNL Network technician.
- Installing physical network hardware components and cabling.
- Securely configuring and maintaining network hardware and software components.
- Responding quickly to troubleshooting and resolving customer and other IT Team member Network-related issues.
- Working collaboratively with customers and other IT Team members to solving problems.
- Creating and fulfilling ServiceCNL IT Incidents and Requests.
What we are looking for:
- Great communication skills to work with customers and peers.
- Customer service orientated mindset.
- Technical ability to identify root causes and solutions.
- Organized with ability to document findings in ticket notes or Knowledge Base Articles.
- Accountable and a Team player.
Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security”.
