As a valued member of our Finance & Administration team, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact our growth trajectory. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you'll play a crucial role in managing day-to-day accounting and filings with efficiency and precision. Your key responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with regulations from Health Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency, a vital aspect of our operations.

How you will contribute:
- Perform full cycle accounting using QuickBooks Online (QBO), including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Prepare payroll biweekly and semi-monthly, and track benefits.
- Reconciliations, including intercompany accounts, bank, and credit cards.
- Support Operations & QA teams following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare and process government reporting.
- Perform period-end procedures for timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage data digitally and, if needed, in paper format to meet regulatory requirements.
- Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned to support the Finance Department and key stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- CPA student or recent graduate
- Accounting/Finance major preferred
- Minimum two years of experience
- Minimum one-year QBO or similar ERP experience (preferably online/cloud)
- Microsoft/Office 365 savvy – Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint
- Deadline focused, with the ability to juggle priorities when needed
- Highly organized and collaborative, with strong critical thinking and communication skills across all stakeholder levels
- Must be located in the Sunshine Coast community
