Accountant

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, analyzing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial auditing, account analysis, and utilizing various accounting software platforms.

Duties:

- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements

- Conduct regular account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements

- Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper recording of financial data

- Perform financial audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of employee wages

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Provide support during tax preparation and audits

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role

- Strong knowledge of financial services, corporate finance, and accounting principles

- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

- Strong organizational and time management abilities

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
