We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Accountant to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, you will be responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing journal entries, and various reporting.
You will be responsible for:

• Preparing journal entries and other accounting duties as required.
• Monitoring data input from other departments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
• Coordinating and directing data input activities with the Accounts Payable/Receivable teams.
• Analyzing financial statements.
• Preparing account reconciliations.
• Facilitating and completing monthly close procedures.

You have:

• 2 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Intermediate level (2nd - 3rd year) CPA or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of general ledger systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and Outlook).

• Able to process high volumes of data.
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills.
• Analytical with exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to take initiative with the ability to prioritize accordingly and meet deadlines.
• Able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Driven and enthusiastic with the ability to work well in a team environment.

This position is based at the Pattison Food Group office in Langley, B.C. While we're currently operating with a hybrid work-from-home and in-office schedule, we look forward to the day when we are all able to work together in the office again.

Compensation Details:
$55,600.00 - $69,500.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
