Accountant

Company Overview:

Harmony Communities acquires investment properties and provides professional property management services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable/Accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of journal entries
• Year end and quarter end financial reporting
• General administrative tasks to support the Accounting team
• Additional duties as assigned

Candidate Profile:

• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and practices
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
• A professional, self-motivated individual with a proven ability to problem solve
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication
• Strong MS Office skills. Experience with accounting systems preferred.
• Accounting degree preferred

Experience:

• accounting: 3-5 years, Real Estate and/or property management industry (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Location:

• Vancouver, BC (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
