As the Accountant, you are an integral part of the finance team, responsible for accounting and reporting functions. You support the Controller and team in preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, GST/PST tax returns, and account reconciliations. You also liaise with external accountants, prepare year-end documentation, and assist with internal and external audits. You know, accounting things.
This role is perfect for your curious mindset and "interest" in learning the end-to-end flow of arena operations. This position will be based at our offices in Prospera Place, downtown Kelowna.
In a perfect world, you are a chartered professional accountant (CPA), or well on your way to being one, with hands on experience in a financial accountant role. Advanced MS excel and MS Office application skills along with experience working with medium to large sized companies will score you extra credit.
