International energy management consulting firm is seeking a part-time account to support its Canadian office.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Perform account reconciliations and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Skills
- Proficiency in AccPac or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of financial services and principles
- Experience with account reconciliation and analysis
- Ability to prepare budgets and financial forecasts
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This position is expected to be one day per week in the office and may require an additional day at month-end to complete required management reports.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
