Experience: 2-5 years office admin/Canadian bookkeeping experience required in an office setting.
Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent.
Post secondary diploma in Accounting, Business, Office Administration is an asset.
Tasks:
· Accounting tasks including, but not limited to: Daily, weekly, and monthly accounts payable, cheque runs, general ledger journal entries.
· Payroll and running commission statements
· Prepare timely and accurate bank deposits, ACH bank remittance balancing.
· Bank, credit card, petty cash reconciliation
· Vendor statement reconciliation
· Physical Inventory reconciliation
· Office duties including, but not limited to: Digital catalogue linking and hot spotting, excel data entry, customer service phone calls, filing, updating inventory lists and special offers in the digital catalogue
Candidate must have an intermediate comfort level in excel including using formulas, sorting, filters, v-lookups.
This individual must demonstrate strong organization and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple demands and stringent deadlines.
