Activity Aides

Extendicare offers rewarding and meaningful work where you can enrich your life and the lives of others. We are currently hiring Activity Aides for our Countryside home, located in Ontario.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan, implement and evaluate one to one, self-directed and group recreation programs based on assessed needs, abilities, and interests of residents.
• Set up and clean the activity area as necessary and transport residents to and from programs and meals.
• Maintain program and resident records and departmental communications.

What you bring

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies or therapeutic recreation preferred.
• Compassion, professionalism, and respect
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
