SUMMARY
Administrative Assistants assist with the day-to-day operations with vendors and customers by doing tasks such as filing paperwork, answering phone calls, preparing documents, and assisting their supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Takes incoming sales orders and completes order documentation
- Performs initial credit checks, credit control via telephone contact of past due accountants, and informs the manager of orders that impact credit limits or high-risk customers
- Performs customer service function by recommending substitute or other merchandise better suited to customer’s needs
- Performs and/or assists in writing and filing pick slips, calculating bills of landing as needed
- Uses computer, input customer orders and quotations
- Issue invoice and follow up the payments
- Checking the raw material balance with production manager and put order with suppliers
