International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 96 is a business in Nepean, ON K2E 7T8. Our goal is to find a motivated and experienced bookkeeper/office administrator to asstst and improve on representing the membership of IUEC Local 96..
```Duties```
- Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Assist with budgeting and financial tasks, such as accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Perform general clerical duties, such as data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Assist with special projects as assigned
```Requirements```
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or bookkeeper
- Proficient in budgeting and financial tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
