The Wealth Management, Advice and Solutions (WMAS) team at Edward Jones Canada equips our branch teams with the advice, financial planning, products and services necessary to serve clients and their families and make a positive impact on their lives. The team works closely with other areas of the firm as well as outside vendors to build and deliver leading solutions that allow us to serve our clients in a comprehensive manner.
While this role primarily supports WMAS Leaders, this role will also support our Marketing and Compliance executives.
You are self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to think creatively, identify opportunities and risks, and find ways to improve how we function as a division.

Flexible Work Arrangements available: onsite, hybrid (3 days per week), or home-based.
Skills/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5-8 years related experience
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and a customer service orientation to handle internal and external contacts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Adobe Professional
  • Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
  • Likely to act as an informal resource for associates with less experience
  • Moderate problem-solving skills; problems may be non-routine
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Moderate. Generally following procedures and guidelines. Will need some problem solving skills to research where to obtain needed information.
  • Always looking for ways to improve how we do things

Decision Making
  • Routine. Decisions are limited to setting work priorities and how to handle requests for information.

  • May help train, mentor, coach newer Administrative Assistants.
