As an Administrative Assistant within CBI Home Health, you will help be the face and voice of this accredited, innovative community health care organization providing high-quality services throughout the Simcoe and surrounding area. This position is based in our Simcoe office and is a full-time, in office position working with a great team. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Utilize scheduling and human resource management systems
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Pull information used for appointments, file charts, reports and other correspondence
- Enter and track client data and client information changes
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Perform general office duties and provide administrative support to leadership team
- Ordering and tracking various office supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist team with program requirements and other duties as assigned
To take on this role, you must have:
- A post-secondary education in medical office / business administration
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a customer service role
- Previous experience in medical office/business administration
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A professional customer service attitude
- A creative approach with a can-do attitude
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in medical office/business administration
- Well-developed skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a publishing program (e.g., Microsoft Publisher)
- Medical Terminology is an asset
