Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary full-time Administrative Assistant to work at a leading manufacturer majoring in heating, ventilation and refrigeration systems, in Burnaby, BC. In this role, you will provide front-line customer/client services as needed and offer administrative and marketing support. Job type: Full-time | 1 month with possibility of extension
Shifts: Monday-Friday|8:00AM – 4:30PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist customers, couriers, and service providers entering the office
Maintain security awareness by monitoring visitor access
Handle incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing them to the appropriate personnel
Ensure reception area and meeting rooms are well-maintained
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and couriers
Oversee office equipment and maintain supplies inventory
Assist with desk phone systems and make necessary changes
Record incoming cheques and manage couriering to the receiving center in Toronto
Organize and coordinate internal and external events, including catering arrangements
Provide additional administrative support as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of administrative assistance experience, including receptionist duties
Exceptional customer service skills with a customer-facing role
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint or Adobe InDesign would be advantageous
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
