Job description

```Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Provides day-to-day administrative and clerical support to various department
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages - General filing and data entry; Purchase order management - Ensure all office common areas are kept tidy and well stocked - Requisition material and supplies for field and office - Sorting, entering and filing hired truck tickets - Maintain and review 407 / mobile phone account - Assist in getting locates for the field staff - Assist with updating company social media campaigns
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or Jonas software
- Provide customer support and address inquiries or concerns promptly
- Additional tasks as requested and required

Requirements:
- Post-secondary courses in office administration, accounting/finance is an asset
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role is a plus
- Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks - Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Knowledge of medical office procedures is a bonus

- Account Payable/Receivables experience an asset

Language:

  • Fluent English (required)
