SUMMARY:
The Program Nursing Lead will provide guidance and clinical expertise in direct client care and provide input to support the supervisor in program planning and implementation as required. The Program Nursing Lead is accountable for coordinating the flow of work on site including mentoring and on-the-job training for staff and volunteers consistent with ONE CARE policies and procedures. Engages with clients /caregivers, providing assessment of clients and oversight of client care needs as well as care giver needs in order to provide high quality client-centered care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- RN, RPN, in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- 5 years related experience.
- Proficiency in use of computer (Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, and typical office equipment).
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and use of vehicle.
