SalaryADULT CROSSING GUARD - PROGRAM ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual will be tasked primarily with supporting the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator with recruitment, screening, interviewing, hiring, tracking, and on-boarding of field staff.
DUTIES INCLUDE
Providing general support to the Adult Crossing Guard program which includes scheduling, reception, and event support.
Completing the review, screening, and summary of candidate applications (capacity within a high-volume, fast-paced setting would be an asset).
Conducting candidate interviews (virtual and in-person).
Contacting, following up, and reviewing references.
Candidate profile management (proficiency in Microsoft Suite and MS windows preferred, familiarity with Recruitment platforms an asset).
Updating in-house and partner job boards as needed with up-to-date job descriptions.
Following up with prospective hire leads from phone calls, emails, partner organizations, referrals, job fairs, etc.
Tracking and management of Employee equipment sign-out and ID Badge creation.
Drafting recruitment-based communications to go out to interest groups, clubs, stakeholders, etc., and sending out approved communications when requested.
Supporting On-boarding sessions and other employee events as needed.
Encouraging employee referrals, communicating its importance and giving incentives to those who produce successful hires.
Support all recruitment, outreach, and engagement processes as requested. Some duties will be ongoing, some will be project, event, and research based. Program needs may evolve and change over time.
Other duties as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
