SalaryKidscove childcare is currently seeking passionate, reliable and dedicated individual to join our team, we are a fully licensed before and After school childcare facility. We are committed to providing a safe, fun, and a positive environment for children ages 5-12. Job Details:
Position: Part time Childcare Provider
- Hours: Monday to Friday 2:15pm-5:15pm with the occasional morning shift 7:00am-9:00am. Possibly flexible with start time.
-Potential for additional hours in the near future
- Additional hours may be available during school holidays and professional development days
Responsibilities:
-Candidate will provide 1 on 1 child support Candidate
- Provide guidance and care for children ages 5-12
- Create a safe and nurturing environment
- Supervise and ensure the safety of school-aged children during before and After school hours
- Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities to promote social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Follow all policies and procedures related to child safety and well-being
Requirements:
-Must be at least 19 years of age
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
-ECE, ECEA, or Responsible adult certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Clear criminal record check
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
-experience with children with ADHD
-Candidate must be located in Campbell River to be considered

Wage is determined based on education and experiance. We are opted into the ECE wage enhancement.
