Condor’s principals have over 40 years of experience in land development. Our core assets consist of high-quality industrial, office, medical and retail properties comprising over 6.7 million square feet, all strategically located throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all Health & Safety requirements as directed by Construction Supervisor
- Request underground Utility Locates as required during course of construction
- Arrange and Maintain all Temporary Facilities on Site, including Temporary Power, Water, Toilets & Hand Washing Stations
- Daily communication and review with the Construction Supervisor
- Submitting Purchase Orders requests to head office for all material from suppliers/trades for approval
- Generating completion slips and maintain Purchase Order Extra (POE) tracking
- Weekly update of construction schedule per Construction Supervisor
- Coordinating and maintaining current records of drawings and consultant revision notices
- Distributing Drawings accordingly to Trades
- Inspection walk through
- Responsible for Completions of Deficiencies
- Answering telephones and assisting in communications with the large group of contractors and consultants
- Organizing site office, setting up binders and folders
- Keeping track of Site Equipment and Small Equipment Rentals
- Maintain company policies and procedures including a clean and safe working environment
· Clerical duties as required by the site Supervisor
Scheduling Responsibilities
· City inspections. Prepare required documents.
· Utility inspections
· Meeting internal, external, events
· Health & Safety: Maintain all Site Safety requirements in accordance with Condor Construction’s Health & Safety Policy
Education, Experience, and Key Competencies
- An education in construction or architectural studies or equivalent is a strong asset
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of drawings and building codes
- Experience working with Project Managers, Site Superintendent, trades, and subcontractors.
