Duties and Responsibilities
· Create, control, administer and distribute project schedules and all required Site documentation including but not limited to: RFI’s, SI’s, CCN’s, CO’s, reports, records, quantities, measurements, photographs, etc, as required by the project and as directed or requested by Site Superintendent and/or Armour Heights Developments Inc.
· Receive, review and process shop drawings, catalogue cuts, material samples, manufacturer literature etc, as required and distribute or receive to/from subtrades and/or consultants as necessary inclusive of maintaining detailed logs of all such documentation and its status.
· Ordering and maintaining logs of site labour hours, ready mix concrete, reinforcing steel, granular materials, equipment rentals, fuels, etc.
· Receive, review and understand testing and inspection reports and consultant field review/site visit reports and distribute to subtrades and/or suppliers as applicable to ensure that all deficiencies or non compliance items are addressed and remedied in a timely fashion in order to avoid delaying the project or impacting the work of subtrades, and coordinate the reinspection and/or further review by the applicable testing and inspection agency or consultant to clear deficient or non compliant items from their reports.
· Review, understand and implement the respective trade contractor and supplier agreements to avoid conflicts, errors, omissions, duplications, etc., on site and advise Armour Heights Developments Inc. accordingly, in a timely manner, of any such perceived or prevalent conditions and/or circumstances.
· Assist superintendent to quantify and expedite the delivery of all supplier items in a timely fashion to avoid delays, interferences, conflicts and rescheduling of activities amongst trade contractors on site.
· Assist superintendent to implement and maintain all required site safety measures as prescribed by Armour Heights Developments Inc.’s Safety Policy and the Ministry Of Labour
· Assist Site Superintendent with field layouts, verification of dimensions, elevations, etc.
· Maintain complete and up to date set of record/As Built drawings.
· Review all subtrade work to ensure and maintain consistency and quality of all work.
· Undertake pre - pre delivery inspections (PPDI), record deficiencies, circulate to applicable subtrades and ensure any and all necessary remedial work is completed prior to pre delivery inspections (PDI) with purchasers.
· Undertake pre delivery inspections (PDI), record deficiencies, circulate to applicable subtrades and ensure any and all necessary remedial work is completed prior to purchaser’s occupancy of the unit.
· Undertake post occupancy inspections – 30/60 Day inspections with purchasers, record deficiencies, review Armour Heights senior staff, circulate to trades as required, follow up to ensure any and all remedial work is completed in a timely manner and obtain sign off from purchasers to acknowledge all items completed to their satisfaction.
· Review status of project(s) with Armour Heights Developments Inc. as frequently as required or requested by Armour Heights Developments Inc.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to use Autodesk and Procore as required for trade and consultant coordination.
- High School Diploma or GED and up to two (2) years of experience in the construction industry (structural steel) is an asset.
- Must have strong communication skills, motivated approach with willingness to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks such as problem solving, decision making, rational thinking, and exercising good judgment.
Experience:
