Billing Clerk

SCAFFEX Inc. located in the east end of Ottawa and we are looking for experienced Billing Clerk to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, maintaining customer accounts, reconciling payments, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is organized, efficient, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Controller, the Billing Clerk will be responsible for the following:

• Process high volume of invoices and credit memos daily to clients.
• Processing payments and refunds and adjustments including credit and debit cards.
• Issuing monthly statements to clients.
• Placing reminder calls to clients for past due invoices.
• Resolve customer inquiries and billing disputes.
• Maintain accurate records of customer payments and account balances.
• All other related duties as required.

Language Skills

• Bilingualism (English / French) considered an asset.
• Must have excellent written and verbal skills.

Computer Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Excel considered an asset.
• Able to learn new software programs quickly considered an asset.

Please note that this is NOT a remote position.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $47,000.00-$51,500.00 per year
