Bookkeeper

On site corporate bookeeper

We are recruiting for a full time bookkeeper to maintain complete sets of books, keep records of accounts, verify the procedures used for recording financial transactions, and provide company bookkeeping services. This position will be based in our office in Bouctouche NB.

• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
• Calculate and prepare cheques for vendors and for utility, tax and other bills
• Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents
• Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.

Requirements- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, and at least 3 years of full-time experience working in a financial or accounting position.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00-$24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
