```Duties```
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
- Calculate and prepare payrolls, tax and other bills
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents
- Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
```Requirements```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Xero
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, analysis, and budgeting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in English. Knowing French will be an asset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
