KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Post journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Process payroll and maintain employee records.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Process monthly, quarterly and yearly tax filings.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for both electronic and physical documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform general office duties as needed, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Provide administrative support to the office team as needed.
CORE COMPETENCIES

- Must be QBO Certified
- Must be a certified bookkeeper
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper and office assistant or in a similar administrative role
- Experienced in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
- Ability to perform account reconciliations efficiently
- Experienced in payroll and government tax remittances
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations
