Job Summary:
Tri-City Refrigeration Inc. (TCR) is seeking to employ an enthusiastic individual to work as a Bookkeeper/Office Admin. The Successful candidate will be accountable to the Owner. The candidate will be responsible for upholding the Financial and Fiscal accountabilities that include day-to-day, monthly, and year-end accounting functions of TCR. The successful candidate must possess working knowledge and a clear understanding of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles); utilizing Financial applicable programs such as Sage 100.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Accounts receivable invoicing, support documentation collation, customer communications
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
- Balance Sheet, bank, and credit card reconciliations
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify accuracy of transactions
- Prepare journal entries for upload
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Ability to take direction, as well as to effectively work independently
- Keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an accounting role, either in a public practice or industry setting
- Solid knowledge of standard office software (Word, Excel)
- Utilize accounting software to maintain and update financial data such as Sage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
