What We Do
Door Systems is a division of ASSA ABLOY. We install and service a wide range of entrance products for residential, commercial, and heavy industrial applications: automated pedestrian doors, sectional doors, loading dock equipment, rolling steel doors, rolling steel fire doors, rubber doors and fabric doors. Our location in Abbotsford is the direct-to-market installation and service channel for brands we manufacturer and services the lower-mainland.
Responsible for development and profitability of Door Systems Service and Installation Operations. Manage the delivery of Service & Installation Operations to our customers within predetermined financial and non-financial objectives. Provides customer support and communication related to operations activities and satisfies customer expectations and retention. Develops and trains field supervisors, technicians, operations coordinators, and sales team. Develops and executes plans, processes and strategies to achieve maximum sustainable operations growth and improvement. Manage sales, individual sales targets and other key company initiatives and policies. Responsible for personal sales and interactive collaboration with sales personnel.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for the profitability and productivity of the Service and Installation Operations through efficient processes related to management of maintenance, callout, repair, and installation. Implement continuous improvement actions in managing these processes.
2. Responsible for the development, implementation and attainment of the annual business plan, operating budget, and labor efficiencies through process development and improvement.
3. Utilizes available reporting systems to analyze and control labor, materials, and expense costs, in order to maintain and exceed budgeted job profitability, while ensuring delivered quality.
4. Develop goals and objectives within the Service and Installation Operations through planning, directing, and coordinating to ensure that expected outcomes are met.
5. Responsible for meeting contract requirements on all maintenance accounts and ensuring delivered quality and customer satisfaction.
6. Manage HR related processes including people development, staffing, compensation, and performance management.
7. Develops and fosters communication and accountability with operations, including effective problem resolution.
Additional Responsibilities:
Accountable to driving strict adherence to safety policy, training and initiatives.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable codes and regulations and ensure operation conforms to these at local, provincial and federal levels.
Enforce labor standards in strict conformance with the Standard and local labor agreements.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
