About the Role
Regional Property Services Inc (RPSI)– a division of the Regional Group of Companies - is seeking an experienced Building Operator to provide building operations, maintenance, and repairs in assigned facilities in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
Key Responsibilities:
- carrying out the day-to-day execution of operations and maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted tenant operations and that asset integrity is
- performing corrective maintenance and repairs in tenant and common
- responding to service and maintenance requests as directed; recording data and ensuring completed work meets quality and response
- assisting in preventative maintenance program and ensuring that cited deficiencies are identified and correctly communicated.
- receiving, tracking, monitoring, and reporting status of maintenance requests and repair
- operating in compliance with corporate and legislated policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines related to environmental, health and safety, and life safety
- providing positive representation of RPSI, enhancing tenant experience, and maintaining positive
- performing daily site visits, interior, and exterior inspections and litter
About you

- the ability to be self-motivated and an individual who possesses strong problem- solving skills.
- basic knowledge of building automation systems is considered an asset.
- a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- ability to communicate fluently in English, bilingualism is an asset.
- basic computer knowledge.
- the ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
- available to work on-call rotation for evening and weekend.
- able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
