The bigger picture
As our Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing Tier 2 support for all Conexus employees on technical issues and business operations. In this Temporary 24-month role, you will successfully support optimization of technology capability for end-users by leading processes and projects for enhancements and upgrades. In addition, you will provide developmental and technical guidance to other employees to enhance their knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.
How you'll be spending your time
- Supporting our internal partners through the provision of problem resolution on technical issues and business operations.
- Resourcing and leading low to mid-sized complexity technology enhancements, special projects, and key initiatives, including product implementations, data conversions, business amalgamations and more.
- Investigating and analyzing organizational needs, identifying business problems, collaborating to find business solutions, and documenting recommended requests for presentation to the decision-making authority in each scenario.
- Meeting business needs by participating in design reviews, feedback loops and conducting the necessary quality assurance testing of the product in collaboration with the team and business.
- Assisting in developing a release plan and/or roadmap that shows how products will evolve to meet the goals and objectives of the organization
- Identifying areas of opportunity for change and efficiency, through feedback loops, brainstorming and ideation
- Collaborating with internal developers and/or vendors to support development of applicable processes and procedure documentation.

- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst (preferably within a financial institution)
- 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity on a project work package (project lead, team lead, or functional area lead)
- QA/Testing experience
- Proven ability to document requirements and acceptance criteria clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks and strategies (Scrum, Design Thinking, Kanban) is an asset
$67,500 - $84,380 with a 9% Short Term Incentive Target
