Overview
PRI Engineering is looking for an experienced individual to lead technical content Development and execute Business Development and Marketing strategies for the company. The ideal candidate would have experience in consulting engineering but also have an interest or experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns encompassing all facets of the marketing mix, daily ongoing marketing activities, supporting sales activities, and reporting and analysis. The candidate will report to the Marketing Manager at PRI Engineering.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop full understanding of all service offerings, to adequately promote our services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in geotechnical engineering and consulting engineering.
- Lead the development of technical blog posts, whitepapers, and other educational materials related to geotechnical engineering and earth works construction (umbrella of topics)
- Create engaging and informative social media content that highlights the technical expertise and services of PRI Engineering.
- Manage video editing for content creation and assist in podcast creation.
- Develop and implement a content marketing strategy focused on producing valuable and educational content for the company's website and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize content for organic traffic growth.
- Work with Marketing lead to design and execute engagement strategies for tradeshows and conferences, ensuring the incorporation of technical content to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
- Lead the execution of ongoing monthly services, the Development and implementation of effective campaigns aligned with growth strategies.
- Partner with project execution team to strategize and build compelling sales promotions and materials that incorporate technical content.
- Develop and implement content marketing strategy to produce valuable and engaging content for our website that attracts and converts our target groups, working with SEO team to support organic traffic growth.
- Manage all aspects of tradeshow/conference planning, logistics, and onsite execution with a focus on technical presentations and materials.
- Support paid advertising campaigns and owned media initiatives with technical and educational content. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve performance.
- Someone that is comfortable bringing new ideas and a fresh approach to our business while at the same time can be very hands on and willing to service both large and small accounts.
- Maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic team environment.
- Following Health and Safety responsibilities, under all applicable government legislations and PRI Engineering policies and procedures.
- Flexible, well organized, interested in technical and personal advancement, able to carry out assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues.
- Strong data evaluation and reporting capabilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Internal education - accountable to effectively educate internal partners & stakeholders on new developments in marketing.
Education and Experience
- Requirement: Engineering or Marketing degree
- Requirement: 3+ years of consulting experience
- Requirement: Experience in geotechnical engineering or other consulting engineering fields
- Asset: Procurement Experience and vendors sourcing
- Asset: Marketing training and experience
Abilities and Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of work products.
- Solid knowledge of CRM, content creation and website analytics tools.
- Strong preference for experience with Hubspot or similar systems.
