What is the opportunity?
The Business Development Consulting team partners with Investment Advisors (IAs) and Investment Counsellors (ICs) across the firm to provide tailored strategies and best practices designed to help them grow their business. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Development Consulting, the ideal candidate will join a dynamic team and be a direct resource on business building solutions to both IAs and ICs and develop and manage team projects
What will you do?
Developing special projects and resources (digital content, creating templates, intervieseries, marketing activities etc.)
Partner with head office teams to execute joint endeavors
Offer ideas and identity opportunities to enhance Business Development team offerings and efficiencies
Provide direct support to IAs and ICs (building action plans, identifying potential opportunities, suggesting best practices, addressing individual team goals)
Record and oversee required IA/IC follow up activities and touchpoints
Host firm wide presentations on a variety of business building topics (regional conferences, training programs, branch presentations etc.)
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Undergraduate university degree and 5+ working experience within the wealth management advisory channels with an in depth knowledge of the inner workings of IA/IC teams
Strong organizational skills and attention to details
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proactive / excellent time Management and prioritization skills
Willing to travel up to 25% of time.
Nice to Have
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Financial Planning experience and Post-Graduate degree
Spoken and written French
