The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our residential property management business. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record in sales and Business Development within the real estate industry.
The team member will have the opportunity to strategize and execute sales and marketing initiatives, follow up on leads and bring on new clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's residential property management portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship building.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals for prospective clients.
- Lead presentations and negotiations with potential clients to secure new business contracts.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of Business Development activities, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- RECA Licensing in Property Management is mandatory for this role. You must either be licensed or able to complete the Property Management module with RECA within 2 months of employment.
- Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field
- Proven track record of success in sales and Business Development, preferably within the residential property management or real estate industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
