Our Company has immediate opening for a highly motivated, detail and time-oriented Business Development
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Identifying and contacting potential clients through networking and marketing methods
- Developing new leads and markets to improve sales using various forms of communication, networking, and lead generation
- Assisting with contacting cold leads and after sales customer contacts, validating information
- Attending conferences, meetings and industry events as required
- Interacting directly with customers on a day to day basis
- Taking orders via email, phone and other methods
- Responding to customer’s needs and questions
- Coordinating between customers and other company departments such as: engineering, purchasing, manufacturing/production, shipping, receiving, service teams and managers
- Other duties as required or requested
- Work with CRM to ensure all sales data is accurate and up to date
- Ensure that all inquiries and communications from customers regardless of day or time of day within reason to grow and maintain a relationship with customers built on trust and reliability
- Technical quote generation
- Candidates should be able/willing to travel domestically/Internationally up 50% of the time
- Entertaining customers after hours during site visits and demos
Key Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of high-level automation and processes
- Must have a passion for technology and innovation
- Must be able to speak and teach accurately on, the features and benefits of Automation
- Strong technical Automation Sales background, ideally gas turbine, Aerospace or medical industry’s
- Must have a good working understanding of selling and marketing in a global environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Strong team-based approach to daily work
- Ability to effectively work with a variety of different personalities
- Ability to work independently
- ITAR compliance is an advantage
- Valid Passport
Key Education / Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of previous business development, sales or marketing service experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of customer relations software (CRM)
- Previous experience supporting a sales or customer service team an asset
- Previous experience working with aerospace and gas turbine industry customers an asset
