Business Development/Sales Representative

CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Sales Representative, Sault Ste Marie.

This is an incredible opportunity to bring your knowledge and experience with Independent grocers and Food Service to CJR Wholesale Grocers and Dairy Central. You will generate new business while retaining and growing existing relationships with customers, promoting CJR products and services.

Location: Sault Ste Marie.

Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Maintain, identify and develop new business relationships with independent grocers, restaurants, food service, food processer, retail in your territory.

· Promote DC/CJR Wholesale Grocers programs, products and services.

· Work closely with purchasing and distribution teams to maintain constant communication with customers and enhance the customer’s value proposition.

· Analyze sales performance and execute positive account management practices.

· Participate in developing new marketing and sales strategies.

· Identify trends in the market and stay informed of competitor’s offerings and strategies.

· Manage the efforts and activities of the sales department in alignment with corporate revenue goals and objectives.

· Analyze the effectiveness of sales programs, recommend and implement change based on findings.

· Monitor records and reports-including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Participate in trade shows as needed.

Experience:

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Grocery and for food service industry.

2. Ability to analyze and solve customer issues.

3. Must have experience with Independent grocers and /or food service.
