Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategically minded Business Operations Manager to oversee the business side of our operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring smooth and efficient business processes, managing budgets, and implementing strategies to improve overall productivity and profitability. You will work closely with the company's founder to drive the operational excellence that underpins our vision for sustainable and innovative home building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance business efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement, driving process optimizations across departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of objectives and optimize workflows.
- Manage financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, to support business goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies through regular audits.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion, crafting strategic initiatives to capitalize on them.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement to build a motivated and dedicated team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; an MBA is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in Business Operations management or a similar strategic role, with a proven track record of enhancing productivity and profitability.
- Strong analytical abilities, with expertise in interpreting complex data and making informed decisions.
- Exceptional leadership skills, capable of making strategic decisions and motivating teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as familiarity with industry-standard software relevant to construction and real estate development, such as Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate, Oracle Aconex, and QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of current industry best practices and a forward-thinking approach to Business Operations.
