Business Student - Summer Intern

About the Role:
This role is available only to students that require an internship for school credit or to graduate.
We are looking for a Business Student Intern. As a summer intern with us, you'll dive into the exciting world of business in the wayfinding, and architectural signage industry. You'll get hands-on experience with some of our North American offices, learn new skills, and work with a diverse team of professionals. You will work on a series of projects to support our Toronto, Miami, and Corporate Marketing offices.
We love fresh ideas and our interns have brought some of the best and brightest ideas to our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in Lead Generation:
- Collaborate with the sales teams to find potential leads.
- Use various platforms and tools to collect data and market research.
- Offer up ideas to expand the client base.
Creating Templates and updating Business Documentation and Processes:
- Collaborating with marketing, to create templates for business documents.
- Help improve our internal documents and processes.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure templates and documents are used effectively.
Writing and Proofreading Content for Proposals:
- Write content for our business proposals.
- Collaborate with different teams to gather information for proposals.
- Ensure clarity and consistency in all written materials.
Researching and Gathering Information on Projects:
- Research industry trends, client requirements, and projects.
- Collect and organize information to support decision-making processes.
- Generate reports and summaries based on gathered data.
- Research and create a program for architectural education accreditation in U.S. and Canada.
Assisting with Marketing Initiatives:
- Help gather content for our case studies.
- Collaborate with the corporate marketing team on social media posts and videos.
- Sustainability Research – B Corp, create a roadmap.
Requirements:
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate business or related field. (upper-year students preferred)
- Committed to a 4-month internship duration.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding Organizational Skills.
- Demonstrates accountability to deadlines.
- Resourceful and takes initiative.
- Likes to learn and has a high degree of pride in project outcomes.
- Able to work independently with virtual supervision.
Position Type and Hours:
This is a paid independent contractor, internship position. Interns have a flexible work week and should expect to work remotely for approximately 35 hours per week. Therefore, this individual must strive to be independent and diligent in delivering assigned projects on time.
Job Type: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months
Salary: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
