We are looking for candidates to work as a Host / Busser with a happy positive great attitude, personality and work ethic.
Your job will be to answer the phone, taking reservations and takeout orders, seating guests, clearing tables, stocking supplies and helping the servers with drinks and/or running food. We are a fast pace restaurant so you need to be quick on your feet. Our hours are short, but intense!
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth food delivery process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service area
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
Experience:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and servers
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in delivering food orders
- Knowledge of the food industry and hospitality practices
- Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen operations
- Customer service-oriented mindset to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar food service establishment is preferred
