Job Summary
The Co-op Accounting , Capital Assets role will be working closely with the Accounting team. This role will provide you with hands on approach, in a team environment, to the day-to-day operations of an Accounting Associate. This position will report to a Manager, Capital Assets
Now, if you were to come on board as our Co-Op Accounting, Capital Assets we’d ask you to do the following for us:
-Work closely with the fixed asset department
-Managing and updating various reports for circulation to management
-Set up new Capital Assets
-Dispose and maintain assets
-Create graphs, tables, spreadsheets, and presentations, collecting and presenting data and comparative statistics, and documents for managements use
-Process invoices; data entry
-Reconciling new business opportunities
-Pulling and centralizing data from multiple sources to provide accurate and reliable information
-Perform other duties as required

-College or university student pursuing a major in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study
-Excellent communication skills
-Work experience in a related field
-Ability to work flexible hours depending on the needs of the business
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and common PC operating systems
-Strong analytical skills
-Keen attention to detail
-Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
-Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work collaboratively within a team
