AddressMatcon Civil Constructors Inc is looking for an Experienced Estimator/ Project Manager to join our team !
Matcon Civil Constructors Inc. specializes in roadwork, underground utilities, excavations, playing fields, residential subdivsions and site prep construction. Our typical projects range from $500,000 to $15,000,000. With a 35 year history in the business Matcon has established a large client base. We are currently looking to fill an Estimator / Project Manager position at our Langley office. You would be joining a young aggressive team of managers and estimators leading the lower mainland in Civil Construction. Necessary Qualifications
-Ability to read drawings, and do a detailed estimate from drawings, and site visits. -Must have strong computer skills, with MS Excel, Project, Outlook, Word, . -Strong estimating skills, working with estimating software, or any other compatible programs. -Must be fluent in English, and have good communication and writing skills. -You must be detail oriented, well organized, and consciences. -Able to provide extremely detailed quantity takeoffs.
- Strong people skills
Construction Work Experience is an asset
Post Secondary Education in Applied Sciences / Civil Engineering is a must have. A BCIT graduate would be an asset
Duties
- Quantity Take offs
- Using Paydirt / Trimble Software for grading
- Estimating all types of earthwork, underground pipe, site prep, roadworks
- Project Management
- Using long hand and Estimating Software
- Communicating to the field supervisor, contract and estimate conditions
- Managing project changes.
- Managing clients and multiple contracts

Salary: $80,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
