We have a 24 month contract; full-time opportunity for an Accounting Clerk - Customs.
Here's where you'll be focusing:
• Perform full audits on all assigned Customs transactions, ensuring to adhere to all Customs regulations
• Coding of Canada Food Inspection Agency invoices and preparing internal scripts for upload
• Coding of Customs broker invoices and preparing spreadsheets for processing
• Prepare and submit export documentation for weekly exports
• Complete monthly reconciliations, identifying missed declarations and submit accordingly
• Prepare backup for all amendments, ensuring all data is accurate
• Data entry for, including but not limited to invoices, customs forms, tracking forms
• Electronic filing of Customs documents, including but not limited to permits, certificates, banking submissions
• Address all requests for Vendor tolerance changes within SAP
• Complete and maintain documentation on all team tasks and processes
• Support organizational change through initiatives that improve function-specific processes or performance
What you have to offer:
• Secondary Diploma (College Diploma Preferred)
• SAP and/or iTrade experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
