Yorkville Audiology - Clinic Assistant
Job Description
We are a progressive and modern hearing health care office in Yorkville, Toronto. We are seeking to employ a friendly, outgoing, highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. Mastery of computer skills (including Windows, Word) is required.
This position is an integral part of our clinic. It requires a person who strives for excellent patient service and is always empathetic, courteous and professional toward patients.
These important responsibilities include:
- Ongoing education to best assist patients and Audiologists
- Respond to all forms of communication to the clinic
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain database, including inputting new patients, journal entries and updating files
- Process and submit billings, third-party claims, etc.
- Receive, process, and reconcile payments
- Prepare audiological reports
- Maintain and perform minor hearing aid repairs for patients
- Assist with educational materials
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
