Cnc Mill Operator

3Gmetalworx is a specialized manufacturer of PCB-level RF/EMI shielding for electronic devices of all kinds. Full-time positions are available for candidates that would like to work in a modern, clean manufacturing plant.

CNC MILL PERATOR

As part of the production team, the CNC Mill Operatorfunction is responsible for completing set-ups and operating mills in a production environment.

Job functions include:

• Operating CNC Mill to close tolerances.
• Measuring and checking parts for surface roughness and geometric parameter conformance.
• Performing set-up using pre-established programs.
• Selecting and changing tools as needed.
• Entering and checking off-sets.
• Basic machine maintenance.
• Working with production resources to increase efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years work experience setting up and operating CNC Milling machines in a precision machining environment. HAAS experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand dimensions and tolerances.
• Must be proficient with micrometers, calipers, depth and height gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Experience working in an ISO certified environment.
• Machinist certification or equivalent on the job experience required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Action oriented with an innovation mind-set.
• Experience with Mastercam an asset but not required.

Preference to candidates with 3-4 years of experience in a mill setup and operator role.

Renumeration: $22-28/hr.
