Commericial Lines Sales Specialist

Locations: Apogee is currently operating full-time from within our three offices, with some flexibility extended as needed. Positions available in Apogee’s Wayne Office.

Job Description: The Commercial Lines Instant Quote Specialist is an entry-level position with many opportunities for growth. This position is focused on educating Apogee’s current customer base of independent retail insurance agencies within a defined territory on our new commercial lines product offerings. Primary responsibilities include becoming an expert in quoting systems and our commercial lines products and training our retail agents on our online quoting capabilities through virtual demonstration.

Meet with our established customers to educate them on how to use our Commercial Lines Quoting Platforms:

Schedule and meet with 4 customers per day to train them on our system capabilities
Utilize technical and interpersonal skills to demonstrate the ease and accessibility through digital platforms
Partner with insurance carriers to host joint customer product demos
Partner with our Professional Lines Sales Team to assist with scheduling and customer introductions

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree is preferred
P&C License (must obtain within first 90 days of employment; Apogee will provide study course)
Excellent verbal presentation and computer skills
Energetic, goal-oriented, methodical, accountable, and has a positive attitude
Multi-tasking, team player with time management and organizational skills

Experience:

Previous hands-on experience in customer service, communication, sales, or marketing is preferred
Prior insurance product knowledge and insurance education – a plus!
