Job Description
We are looking to hire an analytical person to join the team as a Compliance Coordinator out of our terminal in Brampton! The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the administration of accidents and for licensing our equipment. NB: This role embodies an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with Transportation Compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the administration/investigation of all accidents.
- Responsible for data management and data entry into our Database – Collective Data.
- Responsible for licensing of equipment (tractors & trailers).
- Renewal of licenses (plates and permits).
- Monitor and maintain CVOR/NIR and DOT.
- Maintain monthly and weekly reports surrounding compliance and data management.
- Assist in driver recruitment and orientation process for owner-operators.
- All other tasks as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Licensing/Plating experience a strong asset.
- Accident Investigation experience a strong asset.
- Well-organized, punctual, and computer literate – with an emphasis on Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in the transportation industry, or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of transportation compliance regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, e.g., making recommendations to management and other staff with regard to compliance.
