Responsibilities:
- On a daily basis monitor and review hours of service compliance and accuracy, detect violations, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist with all driver questions regarding hours of service and electronic logging devices.
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of tractor and trailer maintenance files such as preventative maintenance bills for owner-operators and company units.
- Efficiently manage documents of all trucks and trailer files with two years of annual inspections and repair bills in each vehicle file and driver file.
- Ensure that the driver's vehicle inspection reports are resolved and supporting documentation is in place.
- Manage and maintain all Driver Qualification files. Ensuring all documents are up to date.
- Assist in conducting interview, onboarding, training, review, and audit of driver qualification files, and set up of new drivers in applicable systems.
- Assist in getting the reference check.
- Coordinate compliance activities for any MTO/DOT or safety audits.
- Assist accident/incident and claim reporting procedures and processes.
- Review and follow up on any infractions, claims, convictions, incidents, and accidents as they occur.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
- Perform other administrative and general tasks as they arise.
Experience:
- 2 - 3+ of experience in an asset-based transportation environment
- 2 -3+ of experience working in the Safety and Compliance Department
- Ability to develop and maintain strong, interpersonal relationships.
- Strong understanding of MTO/FMCSA legislations and Compliance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-Oriented, Strong Organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Flexible Availability
- Ability to function and take accountability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Candidate must be self-motivated and disciplined to ensure completion of daily responsibilities, and upwardly mobile (i.e. able to grasp changes in procedures, understand new concepts, and innovate/implement new ideas).

Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
