Controller

Our client is currently seeking a controller / Senior Financial Accountant to oversee the finances and operations. Our client has many compensation incentives along with the option to work Hybrid.

Responsibilities;

• Direct and control the following areas: operations, general and administrative and regulatory accounting, financial accounting, cash flow management.
• Coordination of budgets and forecasts, the establishment and management of accounting internal controls, policies and procedures and the coordination of audits.
• Review monthly balance sheets, bank reconciliations, manage complex journal entries.
• Oversee a team of 4-6 general accounting employees.

Qualifications;

• 15 years of progressive Financial experience within the oil and gas industry.
• CPA designation with a minimum of 3-5 years post designation experience.
• Public Practice Experience is considered an asset.
• A minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
