Your opportunity:
Central to realizing the School’s vision is the development of quality, high-level external partnerships with corporate sectors to ensure long-term relationships with the top business firms in the world and Canada. The Career Services team provides support to all students across nine program areas to ensure that they are fully supported in their career planning, professional development and job search activities.
The Operations team plays a critical role in planning and overseeing the day-to-day operational needs of the Career Services team. As the Coordinator, Career Services, you will be responsible for coordinating all career education programming events. You will be knowledgeable about all Career Services activities, events, and recruitment activities and support employer events during peak periods. In addition, you will responsible for reviewing attendance and platform data to create PowerPoint documents for the Leadership Team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conceptualizing, organizing and executing event activities including on-campus recruiting, corporate partner and career events.
Implementing plans and process improvements for program and service activities.
Developing learning outcomes for workshops and/or services.
Determining key performance indicators to measure success
Conducting post-event evaluation, analysis and recommendations for changes.
Analyzing statistical information to evaluate the performance of programs and/or partnerships
Disseminating information regarding recruitment dates, requirements and application procedures
Resolving minor complaints within the scope of the role and referring larger issues when appropriate
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
Minimum three years relevant event planning/administrative experience is required.
Experience working with senior stakeholders (e.g. corporate partners and graduate students) in event planning and sales support functions.
Highly developed organizational, communications (oral and written) and relationship management skills
Excellent project coordination and event planning/managementskills.
A team player with demonstrated decision-making skills.
Highly customer oriented with sensitivity to various levels of expectations from corporate executives, faculty, staff and suppliers.
MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and databases.
Data entry/contact management systems experience.
Highly organized with attention to detail.

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 09 - $60,006 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $76,739. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
