What is the opportunity?
As the Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for marking up all new claims received within the department in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary, digital environment. You will also participate in projects within the department as required.
What will you do?
- Accountable for correctly marking up all new claims which includes verifying coverage and identifying common claimants within the established SLA: Lines of business include ID, STD, LTD, Waivers, Secured Client, Incomplete Claims, Life and Specialty Claim Mark-Up
- Precisely code data in multiple systems and data bases within service standards
- Accurately process special handling of Large Case Groups within established SLA and follow exceptions and instructions
- Responsible for vetting, processing, investigating and/or setting tasks for all new mail in the Intake Mailbox within established SLA
- Follow the Anti Money Laundering process
Here’s what we need from you:
Must-have
- 1 -2 years administration experience preferably in the financial or insurance industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities
- Proven confidentiality skills in dealing with sensitive information
- Experience with Microsoft applications
