MLT Aikins Regina is in search of an Administrative Specialist to join our Corporate Services department. This is a full-time position that assists with various administrative tasks, such as annual corporate maintenance, opening files, scanning and responding to numerous client emails and requests. The candidate must be able to multi-task, prioritize a heavy workload, pay particular attention to detail, and have excellent organizational, communication, and written skills. The candidate must also be able to take instructions clearly, understand basic corporate transactions and work independently with little supervision.
Responsibilities Include:
Preparing annual maintenance corporate packages and filing of annual returns
Scanning and filing corporate documents
Maintaining the corporate database
Assisting with monthly invoicing and reminder statements
Preparing and filing documents for partnerships and business names with SK
Conducting corporate searches
Responding to daily inquiries from counsel and clients and handling day-to-day corporate matters
Assisting paralegals with corporate transactional work as required and needed
Other responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
Graduate of a recognized administrative assistant program (equivalencies will be considered)
Minimum 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant
Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
