Customer Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Customer Sales Representativeat our Whitecourt UFA Petroleum location. You are customer focused and possess point of sale system experience.

Reporting to the Agency Manager you will have the opportunity to provide service in a friendly and courteous manner on site or over the phone.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maximize sales and customer support through providing best-in-class customer service ensuring that sales leads are addressed or transferred to an outbound Sales Representative
• Accurate management of sales and receipts, and balancing cash as directed
• Prepare billings for customers and process payments
• Assist with the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products
• Perform maintenance on inventory or cycle counts including trouble shooting/problem solving, as directed
• Other cross functional site duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 diploma with 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent of 3-5 years related retail customer service experience
• Capable of physical labor, including lifting items up to 25kg on a regular basis
• Capable of working at heights
• Warehouse or yard and forklift experience is an asset
• Aptitude for learning and operating computer systems
• Cash handling skills and knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Agricultural or petroleum knowledge is desirable
